Novalux focuses on CCT: new light, endless possibilities
CCT: the evolution of Novalux professional lighting
Professional lighting is evolving towards increasingly intelligent, flexible and sustainable systems. Novalux’s new strategy fits into this direction: the introduction of CCT technology across numerous products, a design choice that optimises management and offers greater freedom to designers and installers.
The switch to CCT represents one of the most significant updates introduced by Novalux in the new ARTEC 26-27 catalogue, confirming the company’s focus on innovation, performance and practical application.
What is CCT in LED lighting
CCT stands for “Correlated Colour Temperature”, or correlated colour temperature. In LED products with CCT technology, it is possible to select different light tones – generally 3000K, 4000K etc. – directly on the product, via an integrated selector.
This allows you to adapt the light to different environments and design requirements without having to choose different versions of the same luminaire. An ideal solution for: offices and professional environments, retail and showrooms, hospitality, residential spaces, contract installations, and lighting retrofits.

Why Novalux is switching to CCT
The decision to introduce CCT stems from concrete market needs and an efficiency-oriented vision.
The new approach enables:
- Significant reduction in storage space
- Optimisation of sell-in and sell-out
- Reduction in unsold stock during stock refresh
- Greater flexibility for the installer
- Reduction in errors during the ordering process
- Less management of returns due to incorrect colour temperature selection

CCT technology: fewer limitations, more design freedom

Novalux lighting products introducing CCT
Among the main new additions to the Novalux range are several products updated with CCT technology.
LUNA, SHOW, SLIM, NIK, and TIN are switching to CCT!
Among the new products are:
LYNO: linearity and flexibility with CCT
The LYNO linear LED profile incorporates 3000K/4000K CCT technology and a multipower driver, whilst maintaining a minimalist and contemporary design. It can be installed as a stand-alone pendant or in a continuous row, or as a ceiling-mounted fixture (stand-alone only). Available in versions with an opal or microprismatic diffuser (UGR<19), ON/OFF or DALI-PUSH.
ROB: decorative design and selectable colour temperature
ROB, a circular LED luminaire with direct-indirect light, is also one of the CCT products, available in the following versions: Ø450 mm or Ø600 mm, in white or black finishes, for suspended, ceiling-mounted or wall-mounted installation. ROB allows you to select single or dual light output and, even in direct-light-only mode, emits a soft glow upwards, creating a pleasant effect of grazing light on the surface.
HULK: versatile ceiling light with CCT 3000K-4000K-6500K
Among the most versatile new products is HULK, an IP65 ceiling light featuring: CCT selection 3000K / 4000K / 6500K, and multiple power options (11W/14W/16W). The emergency kit, and the control unit with optional MW brightness and presence sensors, are managed as accessories that can be integrated into the product.
Greater simplicity for designers, distributors and installers
The introduction of CCT represents not only a technological improvement for Novalux, but also a concrete simplification of the entire commercial and installation process.
With fewer product codes to manage and greater product adaptability:
- Distributors reduce stock levels
- Installers work with greater freedom
- Designers can decide on the colour temperature directly at the final stage
- The end customer receives a more versatile and durable product
ARTEC 26-27: a future-oriented lighting catalogue
The new Novalux ARTEC 26-27 catalogue introduces not only new technologies, but also a significant graphic and technical revamp, with updated product pages and expanded, in-depth technical sections.
The introduction of CCT confirms Novalux’s commitment to developing lighting systems that are increasingly high-performing, intelligent and attuned to the real needs of the contemporary market.
