The principle of sound absorption is a factor of fundamental importance in the design of environments, in order to guarantee the psycho-physical wellbeing of those who use the spaces. This applies to workplaces, where limiting sound reverberation, especially of the frequencies corresponding to the human voice, coincides with an increase in productivity, concentration and general well-being, but also to places of leisure and the home, where a comfortable atmosphere is sought for regeneration.

Today we present two sound-absorbing LED luminaires exclusive to the new ACOUSTIC line of lighting products: CAOS and CAOS B.

CAOS and CAOS B are sound-absorbing LED luminaires: sensational Novalux lighting products, designed to offer maximum versatility and functionality, combining high performance with an elegant design and attention to the smallest details further enhanced by the refined side seams.
The possibility of combining different optics allows CAOS and CAOS B to adapt to any lighting requirement, guaranteeing the perfect balance between visual comfort and refined aesthetics.
Furthermore, the various options of shapes and finishes of the acoustic panels allow to satisfy even the most demanding professional requirements, making these Novalux lighting systems ideal for environments that require both efficient lighting and improved acoustic comfort. Available in different versions: horizontal, suspended or ceiling-mounted, and vertical suspended. CAOS B also offers direct-indirect light emission, ensuring optimal and balanced light distribution.

Novalux ecological sound-absorbing panels
Both sound-absorbing panels are environmentally friendly, made of 9mm thick felt obtained from recycled plastic bottles (PET), in a circular economy approach that reduces the consumption of natural resources and CO2 emissions associated with production. The material is easy to maintain because it does not attract dust and, unlike natural raw materials, PET fibres do not provide a suitable environment for the growth of bacteria or fungi. Available in the standard colours Charcoal, Comfort Grey, Lime, Sand and in many other custom shades.
