Cappuvino is not just a café and wine bar. The pub, in the heart of Groningen (The Netherlands), offers an elegant combination of coffee, wine and jazz. Novalux work focused on the conservation and modernisation of the building. PROFILED and STRIP LED, placed in the empty spaces of the preexistent wooden staves, illuminate the staircase and add personality to the wooden cladding, which continues to the side of the bar, embellishing it and focusing on the continuity between the two areas. The lighting in the pub is provided by an alternation of recessed linear elements with a frame, recessed PROFILED and recessed WELL light points. This choice makes it possible to create a uniform basic illumination, thanks to the lines and accent elements, which highlight the focal points of the tables and the bar. The severity of the lines is also enlivened by the irregular arrangement of light points, circular luminaires, and the union of different elements such as the name of the pub.
